ALERT: FALLEN TREE IN THE MOUNTAIN LAUREL TRAIL
A fallen tree is blocking the Mountain Laurel Trail just a few yards beyond the bridge.
The Gardner Center staff is working to remove the timber. The trail, however, is still passable.
First Phase of the Bluestone Valley Trail Project
On August 16, 2021, the team worked on forming an access trail at an entrance on Cornbread Ridge Road to Brush Creek.
The entrance is just across from the baseball field on Cornbread Ridge Road.
The team formed an access point from the highway toward Brush Creek.
The team began clearing away tree limbs, thick brush, tall weeds and litter.
